Methodology for Selected Services

Lead Based Paint (LBP) Investigations:
Weecycle performs LBP inspections in accordance to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Protocol. An inspection is defined as a surface-by surface investigation to determine the presence of LBP (40 CFR part 745 and Title X of the 1992 Housing and Community Development Act). Surveys are conducted using a portable XRF device to determine the lead content of paint on material tested. Confirmatory samples are collected of representative building material.
